10. What to do if the gimbal axes rotate automatically?

If the axes rotate automatically due to environmental changes or misoperation (e.g., pan axis rotation in Lock mode or severe pan misalignment):
Method 1:
First, switch to a non-FPV mode. Then swipe from right to left on the main screen, select Gimbal Settings > Horizontal Calibration > Auto Calibration. Let it stand still for a few seconds to complete calibration.
Method 2:
Ensure the gimbal is balanced. Power on the gimbal and ensure it is stationary. Quintuple-tap the M button on the Remote Handle to perform auto-calibration. (Note: During calibration, the gimbal will enter sleep mode. Ensure the gimbal remains stationary. After successful calibration, the gimbal will automatically wake up.)
12. What to do if the gimbal's roll axis is not level?

First, switch to a non-FPV mode. On the main screen, swipe from right to left, select Gimbal Settings > Horizontal Calibration. Then manually rotate the wheel to adjust the roll axis to level (or drag on the screen to adjust).
(Remark: When manually calibrating in FPV mode, the roll axis angle will not change in real-time.)

13. What to do if the gimbal motors don't work after powering on?

1) Ensure the three motor locks on the gimbal are unlocked and all three axes are correctly balanced. Then try pressing the power button to turn the gimbal on again.
2) Attach the Remote Handle properly to the gimbal and quintuple-tap the M button on the handle for auto-calibration.
3) If the gimbal's battery level is below 10% at startup, it will enter sleep mode. In this case, fully charge it before use.

14. Why the gimbal automatically enters sleep mode and what should I do about it?

Reason ①: The gimbal powered on without being properly balanced, triggering the overload protection mechanism; Or the motor locks were not unlocked, leading to the gimbal to Sleep Mode.
Check and ensure all axes are balanced and motor locks are all unlocked. Click the gimbal's power button to wake it up, then adjust the motor power appropriately before use.
(Remark: Double-click the gimbal's power button to manually enter sleep mode. Click the power button or tap the moon icon on the touchscreen to wake it up manually.)
Reason ②: If the gimbal battery level is below 10% at startup, it will automatically enter sleep mode. Fully charge it before use in this case.

15. What to do if the gimbal shakes continuously after powering on?

1) Ensure the camera is installed correctly and all three axes are properly balanced.
2) Ensure all locks and screws on the axes and quick-release plate are tightened. Move the camera closer to the tilt motor. For longer lenses, use the lens holder for better stability.
3) It may be caused by mismatched motor power. Re-perform the motor power auto-tune process or manually reduce the motor power.

16. What to do if it's difficult to slide the arms when balancing SCORP 3 with heavy cameras/lenses?

Use one hand to lift the supporting arm upward to reduce friction, and then use the other hand to move the sliding arm left and right to adjust it, that will be more easily.

19. How many ways can the gimbal connect and control the camera?

1) Wired Connection Control: Connect one end of the shutter cable to the camera's remote port and the other end to the camera connecting port on the gimbal. This allows the gimbal to control focus, taking photos, and recording videos. (Check the FeiyuTech official website for compatible cameras).
2) Bluetooth Connection Control: Turn on Bluetooth on the camera (method varies by camera, see compatibility list on FeiyuTech website). On the gimbal screen home page, swipe from right to left -> Bluetooth Settings -> Toggle on Camera Control option. Tap to search for the camera Bluetooth and pair with it.

21. How to adjust framing during AI face tracking?

Method 1: While tracking is active, extend both thumbs and index fingers simultaneously, with thumbs pointing towards each other and index fingers pointing upwards (the tracking indicator will be green and blink rapidly). Tracking will pause automatically. Let the subject move to the desired framing position. Then, make the same gesture again to stop re-framing (the tracking indicator changes from fast blinking green to solid green). Re-framing is complete and tracking resumes.
Method 2: While tracking is active, directly push the joystick to adjust the framing.

24. Feiyu Scorp App cannot detect the gimbal's Bluetooth name. What to do?

1) Check if the gimbal is already connected to another phone. If yes, turn off Bluetooth or disconnect on that phone, then search with the current phone.
2) Restart the gimbal and try connecting again.
3) Move the gimbal at least 50 meters away from its current location and try searching again.
4) Clear the Bluetooth pairing first: Push the joystick downwards and triple-tap the handle's power button. Restart the gimbal, then try connecting again.

25. Bluetooth firmware upgrade: Can't connect to WiFi or upgrade fails. What to do?

(1) Make sure the WiFi SSID contains no characters besides English characters, otherwise it will not be shown up in the app; make sure the gimbal is in the WiFi coverage area; make sure that your WiFi network is working normally; Make sure the bandwidth of the WiFi is 2.4GHz rather than 5GHz.
(2) Unlike other kinds of firmware, Bluetooth firmware is upgraded through WiFi network, so you need to enter the correct password of your WiFi. Make sure the password contains no spaces, otherwise it will not connect successfully.
(3) If the update fails, please restart the gimbal and the APP and try to update again. Or switch to another WiFi network and update the Bluetooth firmware again.

26. I can’t update firmware for AI Firmware on the Feiyu Scorp App, how to resolve this issue?

1) Ensure the AI Power option is ON: On the screen home page, swipe from right to left, tap More, confirm AI Power is ON.
2) Ensure the WiFi network name (SSID) consists only of English letters, numbers, or common English symbols. If the SSID contains Chinese or other non-English characters, the gimbal will not push the network to the Feiyu Scorp App. Also, ensure the gimbal is within proper range of the connected WiFi network. Finally, ensure the WiFi network has normal internet access.
3) After the Feiyu Scorp App connects to SCORP 3, navigate to Settings > Firmware Version Info in the app, tap AI Firmware Upgrade and tap your WiFi SSID, enter the password (8 characters or more). Ensure the password has no spaces, especially at the end. Note that incorrect passwords or spaces will cause network connection failure and upgrade failure.
4) If the firmware upgrade fails, restart both the gimbal and the Feiyu Scorp App and try again. Or switch to another available WiFi network and retry the AI firmware upgrade.
5) The AI firmware upgrades process is relatively slow, so please be patient. The upgrade process takes about 6 minutes to complete.
